Introduction

This section of the web page is devoted to the different projects I've made available on the Internet. Most of them are Free Software applications.

GNU Spacechart

GNU Spacechart is a program that I wrote, and that I currently maintain for the GNU Project. Spacechart's mission is displaying maps of space in 3D. This way you can see the distribution of stars along space, distances between them, and other physical data.

GNU Privacy Assistant

GPA aims to be the official graphic user interface to the GNU Privacy Guard. With GPA you can easily encrypt, sign, decrypt and verify files. Also, it allows management of the stored keys, all of it from an easy to use graphic interface. I took over GPA maintainance and development on August 2002.

Thesis Project

As part of the project required to get my engineering degree, I'm taking part in the development of a remote block device for Linux, using CORBA. CORBA support in the kernel is provided by kORBit.

The project is being developed for the Architecture and Technology Department of my school. You can find more information about the kORBit related projects the department is working in this page.

Timevault

A few months ago I began a GPL'd project to provide "version control for the masses". The project is called Timevault, and it's hosted at Sourceforge. The idea was to provide users with a system that would automatically commit their files to a Subversion repository every time they were changed.

Unfortunately, due to other projects coming up, Timevault has been sleeping since November 2003. There is some working code, just past the "proof of concept" state.

If any developer is interested in continuing the project, please email me.
